Walking / Cycling:  Routes to suit all.  From forest trails and Loch side paths to demanding hill walking / mountain biking in the Cairngorm & Monadhlaith mountains.

Watersports:   Tuition and guided tours on the River Spey in canoe / kayak and water-skiing on Loch Tay are available from the Hotel.  Beginners and the more experienced welcome.

Gun Sports:   In the midst of several Highland Estates, seasonal grouse and deer hunting is available.  Clay Pigeon Shooting is also available at two local centres.

Gliding:  At the nearby Cairngorm Gliding Club.  Trail flights available.

Horseriding:  There are at least four riding centres / trekking centres in the local area -Newtonmore, Alvie, Rothiemurchus and Carrbridge.

Off Road 4x4 Driving:  From quad bikes for young children to Land Rovers etc.

Highland Wildlife Park:  Close encounters with Scottish wildlife, past and present as well as a selection of creatures from around the world.

Local Crafts:  Woodcarving, horn carver, silver smith, pottery.
